 CHARLOTTE ANNE is atraditional BalticSchooner of around 37 tons, built entirely of SwedishOak in the year 1949. Forthe first 40 years of her life, she worked asa Survey and Support vessel forthe Royal Danish Survey based in Greenlandandadjacent islands. In 1988 she was laid up . Following an extensiverefit inwhich the entire interior was refashioned as a comfortablecruise vessel, theowners sailed her from northern Europe to the Indianocean, a 400 kilometres.Apart from the crews quarters, theaccommodation now comprises four guestcabins, all of  which have ensuitefacilities.
