Covered Hopper Model

R-T-R (Ready-to-run) models are supplied with all assembly done, fully painted and lettered, and a mechanism fitted into locomotives.  Mechanisms are all standard 2 rail DC.  These mechanisms are not DCC ready, and require hard wiring a decoder into the model.  No lighting is supplied with locos.  No R-T-R model is fitted with couplers, but if you specify which couplers you would like, it can be fitted at an additional fee

Please note that not all the kits are supplied with bogies or couplers.  In some cases, modelers are also required to supply small pieces of styrene or brass to complete some of the models, as well as glue and paint.

IMPORTANT!

Kits are sold as complete as possible.  In all cases a kit will contain all the major parts, either plastic or cast in resin, etched brass brake wheels, etched brass ladders (if appropriate) and etched brass walkways (if appropriate).
