G scale model railroad trestle bridge toy

Package includes one of each bent kit (each kit builds 2 bents)
(15) 24" long 12" x 12" track stringers,
(20) 24" long 8" x 8" for girts, and
(32) 24" long 4" x 10" for cross braces.
Design based on the prototype for our basic trestle bent kits and options. Since we received so many requests for a package including all the components for it we created this package. Spacing of bents shown at 8" on center is about average of what we have seen on layouts. It makes for a busier looking more detailed trestle. Side cross bracing can be done on all areas as shown, or every other one. You could also use 4x12 for side cross braces. We have seen many trestles that use no side cross braces and just use through the trestle braces (girts). All this is your choice. The side view of the ties and track above are just for reference. Whether you do hand laid track or use sectional track doesn't matter. Adjust the stringer material as shown on the top drawing so it works with your tie length. Total length for this example is 6'.

You can also buy just the plan sets and cut your own lumber! All the components for the package are pulled as separate parts from stock and shipped together once you order your trestle package.
