  This carpet is of very high-class and are sometimes referred to as "the iron-carpet of Persia" due to their extreme length of life and durability. The carpet is thick, very tight and is heavy with excellent wool quality. The carpet is knotted with a double-knot and the pattern makes them very easy to place. Takab refers to a finer Bidjar and the city of manufacture.


This carpet is hand knotted; therefore, difference in shape, pattern and sizes can occur.
This applies particularly to nomadic and village carpets.
