Kalagas

Kalagas, which are embroidered Burmese tapestries, have been around for about 150 years. They are made from cotton, silk, & velvet adorned with plain and metallic threads, metal sequins, beads and glass "stones." The figures in the tapestries are padded, giving a bas-relief effect. Beautiful colours and intricate embroidery with a 3D effect make these simply the best when they are framed without glass and hung. L1100xW500.As each one is hand made they are all different.
