Roller cover come in many varieties, with the nap thickness ranging from 11mm to 20mm, depending on the surface to be painted. The thin-nap roller covers are designed for smooth surfaces, like doors and the plywood found under the roof cornices of most houses. Thicker-nap covers work well for rough and structured surfaces including textured walls, masonry and stucco.
