The tannage of this suede, is based on our Cape Butt tannage, maximum shrinkage of fibre and low fat content. Our objective is to produce a tight and stable fibre structure, which will stand the test of time, and wear. In addition to the unique appearance, this suede is fully treated to be compatible with the W.L Gore XCR speciofication, balancing the requirements of low water absorption with high breathability. Used primarily in the construction of Hiker and Mountain boots.
