SUB-EYE - radio controlled boat

The sub-eye is a radio controlled boat propelled by two independent motors. It was developed for Paneikon, an Italian Production Company, for an award winning documentary
An anchor can be released when the boat is in position and the video signal is switched on a service infrared micro-camera on the left side, this allows the sub to be waiting for hours in position.
 
The main camera is located on a carbon fiber rod moving vertically. The rod is held in position by a joint to allow the camera remain steady in position while the boat is floating
Four small floaters can be added to sink the boat at water level to avoid the waves
A microwave transmitter sends the video signal to one of our consoles where the operator pans and tilt the camera independently from the sub
