Played exactly like the sitar, this instrument is an excellent choice for both the aspiring student and accomplished sitar musician. The Sur Bahar Bass Sitar is a double toomba sitar featuring seven main playing strings and up to 12 sympathetic strings. This instrument is hand made and decorated with inlay. The end of the neck is hand carved to resemble a mythical bird or dragon.
