String Instruments

 string instrument (or stringed instrument) produces sound through the vibration of the strings that are employed in the instrument. String instruments are very commonly used and the range includes violin, piano and guitar family. All string instruments produce sound from one or more vibrating strings, which is transferred to the air by the body of the instrument. Categorisation of the instruments is done on the basis of the technicques which are used to make the strings vibrate.
