Many players and teachers advocate buzzing the mouthpiece away from the horn as an effective way to develop air flow control, sound quality, and attacks. The Buzz Aid holds the mouthpiece in the proper relationship to the horn and your embouchure. Our hand-made, all brass Buzz Aid improves over the more commonly available plastic models in several important respects: They're durable (they just don't break), they feel very stable, they can be used to hold a mouthpipe on the horn for testing purposes, and they fit Monette STC1 mouthpieces.
