These beautifully hand-crafted vermillion drums are based on traditional African slit drums, hollow percussion instruments which are made more resonant through one or more slits in the wood. They are randomly pitched and have a unique, haunting and wonderful sound. Each drum comes with two mallets. The drum's tongues are carved like Dolphins with inlaid eyes. Pleasing to the eye as well as the ear!
