| Mountings | The unit should ideally be mounted in a horizontal position. In environments where dirt or particles may fall onto the moving parts of the sirens impeller, it is recommended to mount the unit with the nosecone facing down. Never mount the siren with the nose cone facing up,as dirt will collect in the impeller. This will prevent the motor from turning causing the motor to burn out. |
