CDMA Beacon

When a subscriber moves with a mobile station, a handoff must occur at the transition area of communication link from a service area of one Base Station (or Sector) to the neighbor. A CDMA Beacon supports inter-frequency hard handoff in case of transition between unbalanced CDMA frequency regions that apply a different number of FA with each other. As the CDMA Beacon supports handoff, it assists BTS to keep not only traffic capacity but also stable service. Three types are available as Service FA conversion, PN generation and Overhead channels generation types.
