A reversible cast iron lock with a privacy latch located on top of the lock. The lock measures 3-3/8 X 4-3/4 inches long and has a patent date of Dec. 15, 1856 on the lock. A cast iron rim lock with a beveled edge which is a left hand lock only. The lock measures 3-1/2 X 4-3/8 inches high and a keeper that is 1-1/8 inches wide.
