The most suitable gas suppression alternatives are FM 200 [Heptafluropropane] and Inergen [a mixture of Argon& Nitrogen]. Many IT and Technology companies are investing today in either FM 200 or Inergen gas suppression systems for the protection of their server / data center rooms. Inergen gas is a mix of Nitrogen (52%), Argon (40%) and Carbon Dioxide (8%). Inergen is an effective and a clean fire extinguishing gas, which is safe for humans and equipments in the protected area. It provides long-term solutions at reasonable cost.
