They are intended for putting out ignitions of gaseous and liquid substances - classes B, C. Handheld carbon dioxide fire extinguishers 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 litres are allowed fire extinguishing of electrical installations up to 1000V. Mobile carbon dioxide fire extinguishers 10, 20, 40, 80 litres are allowed fire extinguishing of electrical installations up to 10000V.
