The ZP3 panel supports, fireand nonfire functions, loop powered sounders, remote control and remotedisplaypanels, up to 128 zones with 768 programmable inputs and outputsperpanel, all covered by comprehensive programming facilities. ZP3'active'protocol provides complete reliability at all times. Systemsfeature thecontinuous monitoring of wiring and sensors, corrupt datadetection anddisconnection of faulty or corrupt loop sections.

Constantcommunication betweencontrol panel and sensor, enables ZP3 to provide awide range of userfacilities including pre alarm, constant sensitivityadjustment and service andnear service listings for all sensor types.

Up to 127 line devices(sensors,callpoints, sounders or interface units) can be connected to each ofthecontrol panel loops. All loop devices incorporate switch settingsenablingthem to be assigned a unique address, the location of which ispinpointed andpolled by the panel every two seconds. Variations in thesensors environmentcaused by increases of temperature or products ofcombustion, are reported tothe panel, where they are processed andcompared to known fire data, prior toany alarm output being activated.

Controlpanels are available in1, 2, and 4 loop sizes, accommodating up to 508sensing addresses. For sitesrequiring above four loops, panels can benetworked together to form systemscapable of controlling over 32000devices from 64 control panels.
