Video Decoder

PixSil is currently developing configurable and scalable decoder and encoder solutions for handheld consumer video applications. These products are being developed as soft IP (intellectual Property) cores that can be integrated into multimedia system-on-chip devices. They will support the emerging H.264 standard, also known as MPEG4 AVC (part 10). H.264's revolutionary compression performance provides substantial benefits over current MPEG based products with significant gains in image quality and system capacity as well as lower overall system costs.
