The main ingredient in AknoF Cream is 5AR IsoComplex, a unique and proprietary plant sterol complex that regulates locally in the skin the activity of the isoenzymes I and II of the enzyme 5a reductase. (Figure No. 1) These enzymes are responsible for the production of terminal androgens(DHT). Androgens during puberty are responsible for oleaginousness, comedones, papules and pustules.
