Sunflower Wax is a new high melting point vegetable wax. It functionsto regulate consistency in sticks and emulsions. Sunflower wax improvesoil binding and emolliency, film formation, and
lubricity. In sticks,Sunflower Wax contributes to hardness, texture, strength, and moldrelease.
In many formulations Sunflower Wax can be used as an alternative forRice Bran Wax, Carnauba Wax, and Candelilla Wax. Sunflower Wax has verystrong oil gelling properities when used in low concentrations down toonly 0.5%. Our special Sunflower Wax is light in color and has very lowodor.
Sunflower Wax Applications:
Lipsticks, mascara, decorative cosmetics, lip balms, emulsions.
Function: emollient, emulsifiers.
