Canola oil

The name Canola had its origin from Canada where rapeseed was naturally bred to Canola in the early 1970's. Canola, however, is NOT rapeseed their nutritional profiles are very different. Traditional plant breeding methods was used in the 1960's to get rid of rapeseed's undesirable qualities

Canola oil comes from canola seed. The oil is pressed from a tiny brownish seed coming from the Canola plant.
