Juniper Berry Oil (Juniperus Communis) #This oil is produced by steam distillation of the berries, and is native to Hungary. It has a peculiar terebinthic odour. It is used for cystitis, stimulating blood circulation, and relieving fluid retention. It is employed as a stimulating diuretic in cardiac and hepatic dropsy. The berries have been used in chest complaints and in leucorrhoea, blenorrhoea, scrofula, etc. It is anti-microbial, carminative, anti-rheumatic, stimulant, tonic and antiseptic.
