Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon Cablis) This oil is distilled from the leaves of plant, and is native to the far east. It is used as a fragrance ingredient, insect repellent, for headaches and fever, in aromatherapy to treat skin complaints, in eczema, for varicose veins and hemorrhoids, in perfumes and soaps, as a massage oil, skin conditioner, for acne, scars, stretch marks and scratches, to improve skin conditioning and scent. It is antiseptic, sedative, aromatic, antidepressant, aphrodisiac, anti-depressant and has prophylactic properties.
