It is anthelmintic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antiputrescent, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antitussive, antitoxic, aperitif, aphrodisiac, bactericidal, balsamic, cicatrisant, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, fungicidal, hypertensive, nervine, revulsive, rubefacient, parasiticide, disinfectant, stimulant, sudorific, tonic and vermifuge.
