Jasmine ABS oil

Cautions:    Avoid during pregnancy. Unfortunately,because of the high price of jasmine absolute it is especially susceptible to adulteration. Therefore, it may be advisable to regard the oil as a perfume material rather than an aromatherapy grade oil. It may irritate sensitive skin.

Safety Data:   Non-toxic, non-irritant, generally non-sensitizing.

Blends well with:    Rose, sandalwood, clary sage,and all citrus oils.

Key Qualities:    Warming, Intoxicating,aphrodisiac, uplifting, anti-depressant, euphoric, balancing.

Properties:   Analgesic (mild), antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic,antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative, cica-trisant, expectorant,galactagogue, parturient, sedative, tonic (uterine).

Main Constituents:    indole, methyl anthranilate, benzylacetate, linalyl acetate, linalool jasmine.

Extraction Method:    A concrete is produced by solvent extraction; the absolute is obtained from the concrete by separation with alcohol. An essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the absolute.
