solid PP Film

This is standard film which can be used universally in all kinds of applications. The films properties are, however, notstandard by a long chalk, the solid polypropylene film is characterized by its high tenacity compared to polyester. It has a very good dielectric strength and is resistant to all cable materials which make it a universal and favorably priced alternative to polyester. The low basis weight emphasizes this advantage yet again. Moreover, the PP-K does not absorb any moisture which is the reason why it can be applied in different constructions. The solid polypropylene film can be economically used for all cable applications. Used as a reinforcement helix, an insulating division film or as a practical processing aid, the solid PP-K film satisfies all requirements.
