Sunflower seed consists % 44 oil in its natural composition. Even it can be pressed with the cover, seperating ( dehulling ) the cover helps us to get higher amounts of crude vegetable oil and higher quality, higher protein and lower oil cake. This separation is done in a continious process by two different equipments. At first the cover is cracked by the cover cracker, then it is ready to be seperated by cover seperator.
