Rubber Grinding Machinery

Curtin-Hebert Company has, for over 60 years, built precision grinding and sanding machines for the rubber industry.

Our first machine for rubber sanding was developed in 1945 to sand shoe soling for precision tolerance and adhesion. This machine was also sold to the floor tile industry for sanding rubber floor tiles for tolerance and adhesion.

In 1950, we developed the 500 Series machine for precision grinding on printers blanket. This unit is so precise; we can grind the print from a sheet of newspaper without harming the paper itself. to view a demonstration.
