CHARACTERISTICS.
TYPICAL PROPERTIES:
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: These knitting oils have beendeveloped from high quality light coloured mineral oils with excellentresistance to oxidation and fortified with special additives for impartingexcellent property of scourability, (that is, the self removal of the oil stainfrom the final fabric during the wet processing), along with antiwear andantirust characteristics. Besides the above characteristics, these knittingoils have long service life without the generation of sludge and acid whichincrease the wear of the machines. These knitting oils also possess excellentnon-foaming, antirust qualities and unique lubricity characteristics.
INTRODUCTION: Formaking variety of hosiery fabrics, automatic circular knitting machines arebeing used by modern knitting industry. In these automatic circular knittingmachines, numerous fibers come through small guided holes from the top of themachine. The interloping of these fibers is carried out with the continuousmovement of one fiber which moves horizontally in circular motion and acylinder shaped grey cloth is produced. For the required lubrication of thesemachines, the knitting oils with viscosity grade, VG 12, 22 and 32 arerecommended for this application.
