NS-07L Light Ruby is a vibrant transparent striking ruby. Of the three shades of ruby, NS-07L is the least saturated and is meant to be kiln struck. Though it cannot be stretched as far as NS-08 Dark Ruby, the advantage it offers is the ability to be worked long without muddying. It is well suited for sculpture and assembled blown work. NS-07L is not overly sensitive to flame chemistry, but to ensure it strikes to a clean ruby red work in a neutral to slightly oxidizing flame.
