Optical Glass - Fine Gob (FG)

 Fine Gobs are made of low Transformation Temperature (Tg) glasses and are used as pre-forms for precision lens molding. These products are very efficient and environmentally friendly. Also, the molding process lends itself to very few surface defects, such as cracks which are created using conventional polishing processes.
