Fused Quartz Glass

Fused quartz is manufactured by melting naturally occurring crystals of high purity at approximately 2000?C, using either an electrically heated furnace (electrically fused) or a gas/oxygen-fuelled furnace (flame fused). it can be fabricated to ingot, tube, rod, ring, plate and disc, crucible, boat and other molding parts etc. The use of these products is not limited to semiconductor and LCD production applications, there are extensive applications in optics, optoelectronic, optical fiber, lighting and many different kinds of industrial fields such as chemistry, pharmaceuticals-related fields, food product, high-temperature processes as well.
