Zinc-Nickel Cast

Zinc-Nickel has been developed specially for automotive components and it replaces the toxic Cadmium finish. The advantages of the coating are its superior corrosion resistance, its excellent throwing power, and coverage. It is harder than zinc, offering a scratch resistant finish with a uniform deposit thickness.The finish has good post plating formability and withstands post machining. Chromating increases corrosion resistance 10 fold.
