Cronos only works with foundries that have the applicable experience (airfoil shapes) and are currently pouring similar castings.

Our experience allows us to help engineer, develop, and monitor the casting process. This assures that Cronos receives quality castings, on time, and at a competitive price.

A large majority of blades (buckets) and vanes (nozzles) begin with investment castings.
Cronos has over 50 years experience working in all aspects of the investment casting industry; engineering, quality, sales, and manufacturing. We have experience with foundries world wide. We know their capabilities and source accordingly. In addition, Cronos has working relationships with the support industry such as; toolmakers, core manufacturers, HIP facilities, and coating suppliers.
