In 2000, Hengxing spent USD60 million to build three production lines of rubber tube wire and steel cord. Those highly advanced equipments were bought from SKET (Germany), CPA (Austria) and
INSTRON (U.S.A.). The wire rods used to make high-pressure rubber tubes are SWRH72A series while the ones used to produce steel cord are imported KS72 and KSC82 series. All the products are
manufactured under standards GBlllSl-89GBlll82-89 or some other international standards.
