  The technical specifications for Cold drawn unalloyed steel wire or spring wire as per IS: 4454 (Part I) - 2001 is given below:
  
  USAGE: Our Spring Wire is used for making tension, compression or torsion springs which are subjected to low and medium static stresses.
  
  We manufacture Spring Wire conforming to IS 4454(Part 1) - 2001 for Cold drawn unalloyed steel wire. Our spring wire is suitable for static duty applications where spring are subjected to static stresses or infrequent dynamic loading or a combination of both. As per the standard , our spring wire conform to SL and SM grades for low and medium tensile static duty or Grade 1 and Grade 2 respectively.
