HARDOX-600 is the worlds hardest wear plate with a hardness of 600 Brinell. It is idented specially for extreme wear conditions and competes with wear
materials like chromium, white ally casting, Ni-hards and hardfacing. In spite of these extremely high hardness the steel is weldable and can be machined as well as thermally cut. For its
hardness the steel also has high impact strength. Due to its high strength , HARDOX-600 plate has better dimensional stability and thus sustains a smaller amount of permanent
deformation.
