This lovely pressed glass boudoir lamp has a quilted diamond design with beading surrounding the diamond shapes. According to Tom Felt, author of the book, L. E. Smith Glass Company, The First
Hundred Years - "The clear glass piece is L. E. Smith, who sold lamp parts to many different companies who actually put the lamps together." The bi-colored switch on this vintage piece is very
unusual, it's red when it's off and black when it's on. The switch and the old non-polarized 2-prong plug date it somewhere in the 1950's or early 60's Standing 12" tall without and 15" with the
lampshade this lamp has a circular base measuring 6 1/2" and three glass feet. The glass is perfect; the silver-tone metal has some darker spots and minor corrosion, which I think would polish up
with steel wool if you wanted a shinier look. The lamp works perfectly although the wiring should be updated for safety's sake. Very elegant and feminine! Does not come with shade
