The light source is housed in a water resistant assembly and multiple LEDs can be used. The light output from the light source is kept constant. There is no linear variation with changes in the input battery voltage, i.e. 10.5 V DC-13.5 V DC. SMF battery is used, which has a life of 2-3 years. 75 % of the rated capacity of the battery should be between fully charged & load cut off conditions.
