(*) Note: Do not use Luxxo with dimming controls. Used with a magnetic ballast, Luxxos rated life is 50,000 hours while that of Luxxo MTs is 35,000+ hours (See specifications for details). Using the Luxxo MT products on solid state ballasts is not recommended and may shorten lamp life.
Luxxo uses a standard GU5.3 base and two-pin connector, comes in two beam angle options each in warm or cool white colors, emits no UV radiation and is 100% mercury-free. And because LEDs emit less heat than halogen lamps, Luxxo is also much cooler literally.
In addition, the energy savings are dramatic, since Luxxo operates on less than 4.5 watts a fraction of the energy used by comparable low-wattage, halogen MR16s.
Luxxo is available in two formats: Luxxo MT, for use with magnetic transformers and Luxxo ET, for electronic ballasts. Designed to last between 35,000 and 50,000 hours(*), this lighting solution provides a significant reduction of maintenance costs.
