Washer base wing nuts These wing nuts, used most extensively in the 1/4-20 size, eliminate the need for a washer as commonly used with standard wing nuts. The washer base is 7/8" diameter on the 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" wing nuts, and 5/8" diameter on the 3/16" wing nut.
