Food Safe Bowls

I hope you elect to keep them out of the cupboard to enjoy their beauty and touch them often to sense their warmth.

All of the bowls in this gallery are finished with Hazel nut oil, a food safe oil I purchased in the oil section at Safeway. These bowls take a bit more care than the ones I finish with tung oil. Each time you use them, they should be wiped with a slightly damp towel and dried. Then if they feel dry to the touch, simply coat them with a food safe oil, wait about 5 minutes for them to absorb all the oil possible, and buff off.
