Art in public

Rainer Fest's works for public spaces are concerned with the site, its history, and the history and experiences of the people within this space. Still water, water flowing softly over stone, the remarkable influences of light into stone, or the physical tension created by slabs set at an angle, all invite quiet contemplation, and transform the space which houses them.
