Ice Thermal Energy Storage System

Ice-Bon thermal energy storage system utilizes off-peak electricity, which is usually cheaper than on-peak electricity to freeze water. The system stores cooling energy in an ice storage tank and discharges the stored coldness for air-conditioning in on-peak time.
Ice-Bon TES system will extend the total operation time of customer's chiller equipment but reduce the daytime operation. This operation scheme will reduce the total energy consumption and operation cost.
