This is achieved by extracting heat from the outside and releasing it into the area you select. For every unit of power used, the heat pump system can deliver up to three times the energy output. When summer cooling is required the cycle is reversed, hence the name reverse cycle. Heat pump split ducted systems consist of two main components.
A coil and compressor are located outdoors to minimise noise whilst the indoor unit is located in the roof space and connected to the various ducting runs and ceiling outlets. All of this adds up to be the most precise climate control available.
