Non-metallic HDPE flap valve is made of high density polyethylene, and is installed for the purpose of preventing the reverse flow of fluid from the outgoing water tank to the absorption well during the halt of pump operation and of minimizing the shock of pipe at the time of pump stop. Its production sizes and design vary from 150 mm up to 4,000 mm.
