The task of a a strainer is to protect valves in pipe lines from dirt and soiling. It is recommended to install a strainer in front of a row of valves. The strainer should be installed that the filter can be taken off downwards. The filter might be cleaned with compressed air or by washing with a dirt solving lotion.
