SealZ fire & smoke Seal

SEALZ fire&smoke seal has been designed for use in fire resisting doors to retard the passage of smoke in a fire situation. The seal restricts the spread of smoke by reducing the flow through the air-gaps between the door leaf and door frame or separate leaves during the early stages of a fire.
SEALZ fire&smoke seal produces a voluminous intumescent foam in the event of a fire, thereby exerting a high enough pressure to restrain movement of the door edges adjacent to the seal. The product is ideally suited for smoke control doors.
SEALZ fire&smoke seal contains a high density ambient temperature pile seal which has a polyproylene fin for improved smoke control at ambient temperature.
SEALZ fire&smoke seal is supplied in a PVC casing of various colours. The product has available width of 10mm up to 38mm and lengths of 2. 1m with thickness of 4mm. The pile height projects 5mm from the PVC holder which is ideal for sealing the average gap of 3 to 4mm between door and frame. The product has a self adhesive fixing method.
