Seal Flushing Plan 31Pumped product is re-circulated/injected from pump discharge through a cyclone separator. The cyclone separator separates the solids and particles. Clean liquid is delivered to the seal chamber for cooling and lubrication, the remainder containing the solids is returned to the pumps suction. The separators filtering efficiency depends on several different factors, not always sufficiently reliable. It is therefore rarely applied.
